On 23rd July 1973, in India, Vipin Reshammiya and his wife, Madhu Reshammiya, welcomed their son Himesh Reshammiya into this world. His father is also a well-known music composer. He attended Hill Grande School, where he met Prashant Chadha. The two of them became best friends, and Chadha encouraged Khan to take up singing, and also directed his music videos.
